摘要
Along with the development of technology in the rotorcraft, various types of urban air mobility(UAM) systems are being developed as future urban transportation systems. In order to utilize UAM as a means of transportation, aircraft design should be performed to satisfy the requirements related to flight stability and operability from the early stage of system development. In the mid-sized subsonic wind tunnel laboratory of the Air Force Academy, wind tunnel tests were conducted under various experimental conditions to analyze the aerodynamic characteristics and stability of UAM aircraft with canards, and the results were analyzed. In addition, the reliability of the wind tunnel test was analyzed through uncertainty calculation, and wall effect correction and experimental reproducibility were confirmed to verify the reliability and accuracy of the experimental data. As a result of the wind tunnel test, a stall occurred at an angle of attack of 14 degrees or more, and the effect of single and combined control surfaces was verified, and it was confirmed that the aircraft was stable in the lateral and longitudinal direction. However, directional static stability was found to be unstable, and additional studies such as improving the shape and size of the vertical tail will be conducted to secure stability.
