摘要
To investigate the expression and clinical significance of serum miR-12473p in patients with ischemic stroke, twenty-five patients with ischemic stroke were collected, and twenty-five healthy individuals were used as controls. RTqPCR measured the expression of serum miR-1247-3p. Logistic regression analysis was applied to evaluate the effect of influencing factors, including miR1247-3p, on ischemic stroke. Spearman analysis was applied to study the relationship between miR-1247-3p and clinicopathological characteristics. The sensitivity and specificity of serum miR-1247-3p in the diagnosis of ischemic stroke were evaluated by ROC curves. Results show that serum miR-1247-3p levels were significantly lower in patients with ischemic stroke than in controls (P < 0.001). miR-1247-3p expression levels negatively correlated with triglycerides (r = -0.425 , P < 0.05). miR-1247-3p is a protective factor that can significantly influence the occurrence of ischemic stroke (OR, 0.401. 95% CI, 0.222-0.732; P = 0.002). miR-1247-3p had a sensitivity of 92% and a specificity of 88% for the diagnosis of ischemic stroke. We conclude that serum miR-12473p expression levels are significantly reduced in patients with ischemic stroke and could serve as a potential biological marker for diagnosing ischemic stroke.
