摘要
In the drilling process of a drill pipe, real-time monitoring of its rotation speed and rotation direction is essential for controlling the drilling parameters. In this study, we propose a multifunctional self-powered rotation speed sensor for drill pipes based on the triboelectric nanogenerator (TENG). The sensor employs pulse signals for the measurement of both rotational direction and speed. According to the test results, the rotational speed measurement range is from 0 to 1000 rpm, with a maximum relative error of 3.5%. Moreover, the reliability of the sensor is evaluated, demonstrating its capability to function in underground conditions with a working relative humidity below 90% and a working temperature below 150 degrees C
