摘要
The corrosion behavior of Si/Yb2Si2O7 environmental barrier coatings prepared by plasma spray-physical vapor deposition during continuous water vapor exposure were investigated at 1350-1450 degrees C over 500 h. The results showed that the temperature had a major impact on the corrosion morphology of the EBCs. The various corrosion morphologies of Yb2Si2O7 affected the oxidation kinetics of the TGO, and therefore the TGO had a porous structure, as was attributed to the Si-SiO2 phase transition and H2 placeholder aggregation. Consequently, the Si/ Yb2Si2O7 EBCs need to be added a protecting layer or film that is more resistant to steam corrosion.
