摘要
Ultrasonic velocity measurement marks its significance in industry, medicine, material testing, and cleaning. In recent times it has been applied to process monitoring and material characterization. Ultrasonic velocity in cohesion with density and viscosity data, furnish sufficient and satisfactory information about the interactive behavior between ions, dipoles, multi-polar dispersion forces, H-bonding, and elastic forces. The ultrasonic velocity, density, and viscosity have been recorded at varying temperatures, that is, 308, 313, 318, 323, 328, and 333 K for the binary system of N-Butyl Acetate with CCl4. Various acoustical parameters such as Adiabatic Compressibility (beta), Intermolecular Free Length (L-f), Free Volume (V-f), Internal Pressure (pi(i)), Acoustic Impedance (Z), Enthalpy (H), Gibbs Free Energy ( increment G) are determined from the experimental data. The results are interpreted on the approach of molecular interactions between the binary mixtures.
