摘要
A novel cellulose grafted poly (2-acrylamido-2-methyl-1-propanesulfonic acid) /graphene oxide composite adsorbent (CPAG) was synthesized and applied for the removal of Ce (III) from aqueous solution. The resultant CPAG was characterized by FTIR, XRD, Raman spectroscopy, TGA, SEM and XPS. Adsorption studies demonstrated the adsorption equilibrium could be achieved within 25 min. The optimum adsorption capacity of CPAG for Ce (III) reached 271.8 mg & sdot;g-1, which displayed enhanced adsorption performance and relatively faster adsorption rate. The adsorption process could be described well by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model and Langmuir isotherm model. The adsorption mechanism was found to depend on ion exchange. In addition, CPAG maintained the comparative adsorption capacity and good reusability after four consecutive adsorptiondesorption cycles.
