MINORS AND VOLUNTEERING: PARTICIPATION AND SAFEGUARDS

This paper analyzes and exposes the specific regime by which minors are governed within the framework of voluntary action and which constitutes a newness on the State Law 45/2015, of October 14, on volunteering. A regime that distinguishes two very different spheres that will serve for the systematics of this article. On the one hand, the regime for the correct development of the volunteer activity by minors in which there is a clear similarity with work activity, with many nuances and details that can be made, and in which it is necessary to preserve safety and guarantee the highest good of the minor. On the other hand, minors can also be recipients of the voluntary action and it is necessary, and has been done so, to provide with a system that guarantees a space where they can be safe and away from situations in which their physical and moral integrity may be endangered.
