摘要
This study examined the combination of individual (living a calling, employee well-being) and contextual factors (cooperative organizational culture) to provide a holistic view of their impact on helping behavior. Results demonstrated that cooperative organizational culture enhanced employees to live out their calling and bolstered employees' helping behavior. The multi-group analysis found that cooperative organizational culture significantly influenced helping behavior only for female employees, while workplace well-being impacted helping behavior more for male employees. Based on organizational support theory, this study revealed the factors driving employee helping behavior and a further understanding of the role of gender in hospitality organizations.
