Cyclic semi-parallel real hypersurfaces in complex Grassmannians of rank two

In this paper, we investigate the cyclic semi-parallel real hypersurfaces in the complex Grassmannians of rank two, including both the complex Grassmannian SUm+2/S(U2Um) of compact type and the complex Grassmannian SU2,m/S(U2Um) of noncompact type, respectively. As the main result, we shall prove the non-existence of such real hypersurfaces with m >= 3, generalizing the works of Suh (Bull Aust Math Soc 67:493-502, 2003) and Loo (Differ Geom Appl 34:87-102, 2014), with respect to parallel or semi-parallel real hypersurfaces in SUm+2/S(U2Um).
