摘要
In the context of the emergence of Industry 4.0 (I4.0) technologies, scholars and practitioners have recognized the importance of adopting digitalization to enhance supply chain (SC) capabilities such as agility and resilience. This topic is still constantly rising and needs to provide insight into this area. This study explores the influence of the I4.0 adoption level on the dynamics of SC, specifically focusing on the simultaneous improvement of both supply chain agility (SC agility) and supply chain resilience (SCRes). Utilizing a dataset supported by simulation studies and illustrated through the analysis of real -world data that includes a variety of firms embracing I4.0 in Morocco, we employ linear regression analysis to reveal the relationships between the I4.0 adoption level and the corresponding levels of SC agility and SCRes. Preliminary results indicate a significant positive relationship between the adoption level of I4.0, and the enhancement of both SC agility and SCRes. The insights derived from this study contribute to the ongoing discussion on the strategic incorporation of I4.0 practices to nurture agility and resilience within SC ecosystems.
