摘要
Existing measurements tend to focus on the measurement of how cognitive aspects of life skills development can influence students' school-to-work transition. Less attention has been paid to the noncognitive aspects of it. Specifically, "career planning" has often been ignored as a contemporary life skill. The purpose of this study was to validate the Life Skills Development Self-Efficacy Inventory (LSD). Data were collected from 2390 students from eight secondary schools in Hong Kong, China. Results found that the links between LSD, career self-efficacy, and school connectedness ranged from moderate to strong. The scale demonstrated best fit with a correlation model.
