In their article, Fuchs and colleagues reported the outcomes of 9533 adults who had coronary computed tomography angiography in a substudy of the Copenhagen General Population Study. The editorialists explain why this study provides unique data on the contemporary natural history of coronary artery disease in the absence of intervention that will inform prevention strategies.
