In the tourism sector there is a wide variety of gastronomic products that are part of the set of foods andbeverages offered in a given destination. Consumers, faced with this diversity, observe very well the characteristics of the product they want to acquire, even in high consumption beverages, such as beer. The objective of this study was to identify the perspectives and potentialities that craft beer has among tourists and residents of the city of Manta, for this a survey was conducted to a sample made up of 334 individuals of different ages. The results reveal a favorable perspective about the possibilities of incorporating the aforementioned drink as part of the local gastronomic offer, as well as important levels of customer demand in terms of the quality and presentation of the product. It is concluded that craft beer has good acceptance among the group of subjects who were surveyed.
