摘要
In the paper, we theoretically established a performance analysis model of a low-pressure cryogenic vaporizer for vaporizing 20 K, 10 bar liquified hydrogen to room temperature. The effectiveness-NTU method considering the axial conduction in the wall separating fluids was used to establish the performance analysis model. This model was theoretically and numerically validated by comparing the analysis results of the present model with those of models presented by previous researchers and numerical results. Based on the results, it is shown the model presented by Narayanan is not appropriate. Moreover, in the present model, the boundary condition at the inlet wall was modified to consider the actual operating condition of a low-pressure cryogenic vaporizer. Finally, the effect of the axial conduction on the vaporizer performance was investigated by analyzing the effectiveness according to the axial conduction parameter.
