摘要
Titanium dioxide is an n-type semiconductor with a wide band gap. It has drawn much attention during the last few decades due to its excellent potential in numerous fields of application. In this review paper, various techniques of preparation of TiO2 thin films have been discussed in detail. Also the underlying mechanisms of photocatalytic, photovoltaic, and gas sensor applications have been reviewed.
