摘要
The median arcuate ligament (MAL) meets the aorta in its anterior aspect just above the celiac artery, but in 10-24% of cases, it passes anterior to the celiac artery over its proximal portion, causing an indentation on the celiac artery. This appearance is a non-obstructive normal variant in most cases, but in certain individuals, the median arcuate ligament causes indentation, compression, and inferior displacement of the celiac artery, leading to mesenteric ischemia. It is known as median arcuate ligament syndrome or Dunbar syndrome. We are presenting typical imaging signs of median arcuate ligament syndrome.
