Adipose Tissue and Insulin Sensitivity Adipose tissue glucose transport and GLUT4 levels regulate systemic insulin sensitivity and whole-body energy balance, which have implications for the pathogenesis and treatment of obesity and diabetes. © 2023 Massachusetts Medical Society.
