摘要
This study conducts a comparative analysis of microstructures and properties in 99.9% pure copper sheets processed through constrained die pressing methods: groove, studded (CSP), and modified studded (Modified-CSP). The study involved analyzing the metallography of the microstructure, dislocation density using Debye-Scherrer analysis, residual stress using XRD-sin2 psi method, and strain distribution using DEFORM-3D software. The results show that all methods led to a decrease in grain size, improving the copper sheets' ultimate tensile strength (UTS). CSP showed the most significant improvement in UTS. All techniques successfully reduced residual stress, with CSP using 45 degrees studs being the most effective. However, the increased strain observed in Modified-CSP did not result in maximum UTS due to grain reduction limitations. In conclusion, CSP showed the most promising combination of refined microstructure and improved mechanical properties, making it the superior method.
