摘要
The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic made daily news of deaths. According to several studies, a signifi-cant number of deaths due to COVID-19 resulted from secondary bacterial infections. Consequently, antimicrobials are important tools in helping to defend against mortality in patients with COVOD-19. It should be noted that, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is now estimated to cause notable global deaths. Points to consider that proportion of COVID-19 cases that are prescribed antibiotics are unclear and may be associated with patient injury and AMR. Thus, the aim of the cur-rent review was to focus on the role of antibiotic therapy in the treating of COVID-19.
