摘要
The effects of F-, Cl-, and Br- on aluminum corrosion in weak acetic acid solutions were studied using a combination of electrochemical methods and physical characterizations, and the pitting factors for aluminum were calculated and used as an effective and intuitive parameter for evaluating aluminum corrosion. The results showed that an increase in the NaCl concentration led to more serious aluminum corrosion, and an increase in the Cl- concentration deepened the degree of pitting corrosion. Among the halogen ions, Cl- was more likely to cause aluminum corrosion. The mechanism for pitting corrosion was developed from these conclusions, which provide guidance for addressing aluminum corrosion.
