摘要
An improved design was proposed by incorporating helical fins onto the vortex finder, and the impact on the comprehensive performance of the oil-gas cyclone separator was analyzed based on flow field characteristics. The results revealed that the integration of helical fins led to a slight enhancement in the overall separation efficiency and a significant reduction in pressure drop, thus contributing to the decrease of energy consumption in industrial processes. The orthogonal experimental design (OED) method was utilized for the discussion and optimization of five structural parameters related to the helical fins. This study provides new insights for the design of internal components of oil-gas separators. Oil-gas cyclone separators equipped with helical fins were found to provide notable performance benefits. An improved design was proposed by incorporating helical fins onto the vortex finder. The flow field characteristics were obtained using CFD simulation, and the comprehensive performance was evaluated. The helical fin structure was analyzed and optimized via orthogonal experimental design method. image
