Phenomenological interpretations about kata syntheken of logos in Aristotle

This paper analyzes the phenomenological interpretation of Aristotle's concept of kata syntheken. Our research proposes to establish the connections between this conception of the logos and Heidegger's notion of facticity. In the speaker, the logos does not arise quam tabulam rasam, but is constituted by a whole social and political context, by a tradition in which one is always already involved. This context determines the hermeneutische Situation, that is, the vital situation in which logos finds its genesis and its meaning. Our thesis is that Heidegger, in his understanding of the Aristotelian logos, could have interpreted kata syntheken in the terms of Vorhabe: the field of what has already been given, the fore-having in which meaning is determined by facticity.
