摘要
center dot The ultimate goal for the future of vestibular schwannoma (VS) management is personal-ized, precision medicine.center dot Innovations that will define the future of the diagnosis, prognosis, and monitoring of VS include biomarker identification using liquid biopsy of the blood and inner ear, artificial in-telligence algorithms, intracochlear endomicroscopy, advanced targeted imaging strate-gies, gene editing, next-generation sequencing techniques, and patient-derived cellular models of VS and inner ear.center dot Advances that will revolutionize future treatment paradigms of VS include ultra high dose rate radioterhapy, surgery guided by targeted molecular imaging, novel and repurposed targeted therapeutics, immunotherapies such as checkpoint inhibitors, adoptive T cell therapies, and tumor vaccines, and both in vivo and ex vivo gene therapeutic strategies.
