摘要
Communication is one of the critical developments for a successful intelligent transport system. Communication brings together different stakeholders that were previously separated. In particular, the traffic and charging infrastructure and the vehicle manufacturers have not had the need to interact. The two clusters can exchange information using the communication capabilities of intelligent transportation systems. Interoperability is the key to understanding each other. In this context, the communication-related specification must be defined to achieve interoperability. In this paper, we give an overview of the current state of specifications in the area of Intelligent Transport Systems and analyze the challenges between the different standards development organizations. We suggest how standardization can be streamlined for specific releases to achieve efficiency and interoperability.
