Synthesis of 1H-Pyrazolo[1,2-b]Phthalazine-5,10-Dione and 1H-Pyrazolo[1,2-a]Pyridazine-5,8-Dione Derivatives by Bovine Serum Albumin in Water

摘要
Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) was used as a green, inexpensive and efficient biocatalyst, for synthesis of 1H-pyrazolo[1,2-b]phthalazine-5,10-dione and 1H-pyrazolo[1,2-a]pyridazine-5,8-dione derivatives through a one-pot three component reaction between phthalhydrazide or maleic hydrazide, Aryl aldehydes, and malononitrile in good to excellent yield (73-93%). The remarkable features of this approach include green catalyst, no organic solvent, metal-free, mild reaction, easy work-up and good functional group tolerance.
