摘要
The proposed antenna is having a circular patch with ground plane and is designed on FR4 (frame sensitive) substrate having dielectric permittivity 4.4 and along with it the thickness '1.76 mm', the designed antenna resonates at a frequency of around 2.4 GHz that can be used for Bluetooth applications. It provides a directional pattern with minimum return loss of around -30 dB. Gain has been improved by inserting a rectangular slot, with an improved gain of about 2.1 dB. The design is simulated on HFSS software and is further fabricated. The testing was done on Network analyzer N9916A and the test results are closely similar to the simulated results.
