摘要
Many countries in the world are struggling with a shortage of teachers, the aging of the teaching community, the low number of people entering teacher training, and the declining trends of those entering the profession after that are lurking like a shadow over the education systems. The 3 main problems of the shortage of teachers: the low prestige of the field and the resulting repulsive effect, i.e. non- choice, low wages and increasing workloads are not only problems present in Hungary. At the same time, the responsibility for the education of the future generation forces education politicians everywhere to formulate recommendations regarding the situation and to designate possible directions and solution paths. The study provides a theoretical approach to the problem and tries to support the importance and emphasis of the problem with data.
