摘要
Translation is a framework where tropes such as metaphor and analogy are revolved and is present in Thomas More's conception of the imaginary of Utopia. In this work we carry out an analysis of these translating resources from Cultural Rhetoric, that is the most recent contribution to Cultural Studies made by Prof. Tomas Albaladejo. For this reason, we study the rhetorical dimension of the work and of the cultural elements that are present in Utopia regarding this work as a cultural construction. Cultural explanations are proposed for the presence of the metaphorical and fictional elements of the work, considering that the real elements are constituting one of the decisive axes of this text, as the engine and creative process of the imaginary.
