摘要
Here, we report copolymerization of ethylene or propylene with norbornenes functionalized with polar groups, using palladium catalysts, Pd/IzQO, Pd/BPMO, or Pd/ PS. In this study, the structural analyses for copolymers of ethylene with methyl 5-norbornene-2-carboxylate (E/MeNBE), tert-butyl 5-norbornene-2-carboxylate (E/tBuNBE), or 5-norbornene-2-carboxylic acid (E/NBA) were conducted. Also, this work serves as the first example of coordination-insertion copolymerization of propylene with disubstituted polar olefins. In addition, the thermal properties of the obtained copolymers were evaluated by the DSC analyses.
