摘要
Prepared by sol-gel technique, the perovskite manganites La0.6Pr0.1Ba0.3MnO3, magnetic entropy change was investigated because of the particular double metal-insulator transition peaks contrast to other similar series perovskite manganites; the maximum magnetic entropy change delta S-H = -1.42 J / kg.K and its refrigerant capacity 43 J/kg were obtained under 1-T magnetic field variation. The desired magnetic entropy change broaden peak behavior had not occurred. The relation of magnetic entropy change and lattice potential energy qualitatively is analyzed with a tabular comparison, and the possibility of the negligible Pr(3+ )ionic (Nd3+ ionic in other similar Perovskite manganites) lattice potential energy submerged in the double exchange strong magnetic signal matrix, which this phase transition is a first-order phase transition.
