摘要
A controlled degradation process enabling polydiene depolymerization and using the olefin metathesis reaction with a phosphonated allylic chain transfer agent (CTA) is reported. This process afforded the functionalization of elastomers by phosphonate groups to lead to phosphonated telechelic polymers with a quite low dispersity. The metathetic degradation reaction proceeded successfully on waste tires to provide phosphonated telechelic polymers that can be used as secondary raw materials for various applications. This strategy is a logical solution to develop a circular economy approach concerning the recycling of the waste tires.
