摘要：

Acute vitamin A toxicity following ingestion of a large fish liver is rare in Morocco. We report the first cases of vitamin A poisoning following the ingestion of fish liver. The Poison Control Centre of Morocco received the case of a family of two girls 8 and 13 years old and their father, complaining of abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, diarrhea, photophobia and facial erythema several hours after consumption of tuna liver for lunch. We suspected acute vitamin A intoxication due to their diet history. Four days later; the 8-year-old girl developed an intracranial hypertension. On day 9 after ingestion, her serum retinol levels were elevated at 2.72 mu mol/l.(c) 2022 Soci acute accent et acute accent e Franc , aise de Toxicologie Analytique.
