摘要
The article "Quantum mechanical effects for a hydrogen atom confined in a dielectric spherical microcavity"(Wang et al., 2022) does not describe correctly the Shannon entropy for the states 3p and 4p for the hydrogen atom confined by a dielectric spherical microcavity. In this comment, we show the correct behavior for these states and conclude that there was an error in the data found by the authors of that article. Thus, looking for a physical meaning for the behavior observed in that paper makes no sense.
