摘要
With the increasing requirements for heat transfer efficiency, large-scale and high flow speed are the two critical issues for the common heat exchanger design. The failure of heat exchange tube bundle caused by fluid-induced vibration has become one of the most important reasons, which affects the structural integrity of heat exchanger. However, a gap between a tube and its supporting structure usually exists after installation, resulting in an intensive FIV. Thereafter, collision and wear may occur. Aiming at investigate the influence of support gap on FIV, an experimental platform was established to measure the vibration characteristics of heat exchange tube after force excitation. A restorative force surface method is proposed to identify the vibration stiffness of heat exchange tubes with gap support. Meanwhile, a numerical calculation model of heat exchange tube array is established to reveal the FIV phenomena with nonlinear stiffness.
