摘要
First-principles calculations have been used to study the structure stability, mechanical properties, dynamic stability, electronic structure, magnetic moment, and anomalous Hall conductivity of the quaternary Heusler alloy CoFeMnSn. It is found that the Type I structure is the most energetically favorable config-uration, which exhibits high mechanical and dynamic stability. The large experimental saturation magnetic moment of 4.16 mu B/f. u. and a high Curie temperature well above room temperature facilitate its application in the field of spintronics. The material's resistivity changes very little with increasing temperature, showing a weak negative temperature coefficient, indicating a non-metallic transport behavior of the alloy. The main carrier of the alloy is hole with a carrier concentration of roughly 2.49 x 1022 cm-3 at 300 K. The analysis of the anomalous transport properties of the alloy indicates that both intrinsic and extrinsic factors contribute to the anomalous Hall effect of the CoFeMnSn alloy. Although it is difficult to distinguish be-tween the side-jump and intrinsic mechanisms, it is shown that the skew scattering associated with phonons plays a significant role in the anomalous Hall effect.
