Truth helps and it hurts. It helps when leadership needs to hear the truth and it hurts when the corporate culture believes "truth" is negotiable or worse, punishable. Companies need to make it safe for truth talkers to tell the truth, but truth talkers will seldom trust executives who promise recrimination-free "talking." The solution may be software that supports anonymity, where truth talkers never have to talk face-to-face with the executives who need the most help. They can just talk to an app.
