Symbolic power and its relationship with the work of Haitian immigrants

This article is a reflection based on Bourdieu's theoretical foundation on Symbolic Power (1998) and its relationship with the work developed by Haitian immigrants in Brazil. The intention in constructing this study is to understand social reality from the subjects who experience it on a daily basis, which can be called social space, in order to develop the working conditions of Haitian cooperative members, in light of the concepts of habitus and social space. The text is an initial reflection, as it is part of a doctoral thesis in progress.
