摘要:
During World War I, Germany depended heavily on its wireless connection between the very low frequency Telefunken transmitters in Sayville/Long Island and Nauen near Berlin. The Marconi company attempted to shut down the transmitter in Sayville by means of a patent lawsuit. Two Nobel laureates - Guglielmo Marconi and Ferdinand Braun - travelled to New York during the war to attend the court hearings.
