摘要
Hereinwe report the structural change and radical generation ofa cadmium-based metal-organic framework (Cd-MOF) induced byexternal electric fields. Under a weaker single electric field, differentcoordination modes of Cd-L lead to 3D -> 2D structuralchange. Under stronger superposed electric fields, Cd-MOF was excitedto produce a stable free radical. This study will provide a new avenuefor the controlled assembly of MOFs. External-electric-field-inducedstructural change and radicalgeneration of a cadmium-based metal-organic framework werestudied.
