摘要
The practice of sports presents numerous manifestations, which over the years have undergone changes. In the university context, with the premise of ensuring it as a constitutional right, in 2009, the Federal Government created the Segundo Tempo Uni-versity Program (STUP), which aims to provide the student body with access to the practice of educational sports. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the planning, formation and evaluation at University PST of the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). Descriptive research with a qualitative approach was used, with data collection through semi-structured interviews carried out with professors and monitors. The data were analyzed according to Bardins proposal (2009). The planning and structuring of the STUP were carried out by the coordinator, in accordance with the program guidelines, which do not provide for the participation of professors and monitors. According to the interviewees' reports, the training was not carried out according to guidelines, but the planning meet-ings proved to be significant for professional training. The main impact of the evaluated program was on offering sports practice as a right. Thus, it is concluded that the STUP contributes to the student body's access to educational sports, as well as to professional training, as provided for in the guidelines. However, it is necessary the participation of teachers in the construction of planning, con-sidering that in the implementation there is a dissociation between those who plan and execute.
