摘要
This is a technical report resulting from research linked to the research line Instruments for Access to Justice Protection of Rights, subarea Human Rights and Education and EducaDH project, of the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program of the Professional and Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Jurisdictional Provision and Human Rights, from the Federal University of Tocantins and Escola Superior da Magistratura Tocantinense, with the approval of the Ethics Council Opinion no 6,051,298. Research with a qualitative approach, whose data were collected through a questionnaire applied to teachers articulated with the analysis of the Pedagogical Political Projects (PPPs) of six school units of Elementary ducation Years Initials, cities that are located in the Region of Bico do Papagaio, state of Tocantins - Brazil, with the purpose of identifying and understanding the difficulties faced by elementary school teachers in the initial years in approaching the ethnic-racial theme in the classroom. The results showed that school units promote discussions about ethnic-racial relations, however the debate and actions to promote anti-racist education need to be strengthened in order to become routine in the school environment in order to comply with legislative determinations and human rights.
