Empathy towards animals as educational strategy of intercultural coexistence in Infantil Education

摘要
The main objective is to generate attitudes and values in Infantil Education, that allow us to develop a positive vision towards "the other" and facilitating the creation of processes of intercultural coexistence through empathy towards animals. It will be through the first years from where one begins to learn to discriminate, to peacefully resolve situations of conflict, to acquire attitudes of respect, tolerance and solidarity, to work collaboratively, to eliminate situations of discrimination, inequality or violence, to favor processes of empathy,..., in short, to build solid pillars of intercultural coexistence. We have applied a mixed quantitative and qualitative methodology, based on the techniques of the elaboration of a questionnaire and participant observation. The initial resource has been the elaboration of a story, that applied transversally, has allowed to intervene in the auditory, visual and psychomotor development of the child. The conclusions reached confirm very favorably the proposed objective.
