Realities in the application of the approaches of the 2018 Study Plan for the achievement of Professional Skills in the training of graduates in Physical Education

摘要
The purpose of this article is to interpret how the teachers of a Normal School of Physical Education in Mexico, have adapted their practice to the learning-centered and Competency-based approaches for the achievement of the Professional Competencies proposed by the Curriculum 2018, four years after its implementation. Information was collected from six teachers who jointly taught a total of fifteen courses belonging to the eight semesters that make up the Plan, using the interpretive paradigm and the ethnographic method to recognize the features that characterize the forms of intervention and evaluation, and their congruence with the approaches, and the course plans were analyzed and characterized taking authentic teaching and evaluation as a reference for analysis. The findings indicate the patterns that are revealed in the planning that the teacher carries out of his course, does not constitute an intellectual exercise but of reproduction, since he properly transcribes the program in a predesigned plan format, and the forms of evaluation are not congruent with the professional skills that are favored, due to the lack of their application in real or simulated situations linked to the exercise of the profession, which is revealed by the activities proposed for the training process and by the construction of learning evidence.
