摘要
Conceptions of development and local development in sociological studies have been part of the work of classical and contemporary researchers and analysts. There have been several schools of thought and micro fields that have focused attention not only on the concept, but also on the relationships that have been built and reproduced around it. In the economy, as a current, and in the sociology of development -among the most significant- there are important resources that contribute to explaining the current processes in which local development affects today. Both concepts, in particular, local development, have been appearing with important presences in studies where space, culture, labor relations, tourism and politics become epistemological fields within contemporary sociological science. In this article, an approach to sociological research in Cuba is carried out, and criteria that favor the elaborate systematization and its correlates with the 2020-2030 Development Agenda are introduced.
