摘要
This paper presents a mathematical model of a Rotor-tied Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (RDFIG) along with an appropriate Field-Oriented Control (FOC) system. A sensorless observer based on Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) theory is then developed to estimate the rotor speed and position of the RDFIG. The use of Field-Oriented Control (FOC) allows for use across a wide speed range compared to other fixed speed control methods. Closed-loop simulations are run on a 5.5kW RDFIG model to evaluate the performance of the estimation method at different speeds and power regions.
