摘要
In this paper, two different types of electromagnetic delay lines for radar testing applications are presented. The structures are evaluated with regards to their properties for radar target generation, these features being the velocity factor, signal attenuation, dispersion and bandwidth. The delay lines shall be complemented with attenuators and filters to approximate an authentic free space target. Next to fundamentals and simulation results, several measurements and different use cases are discussed in detail.
