摘要：
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a potentially life-threatening condition that can occur during preg-nancy and pose a significant risk to the mother and the developing fetus. It is a major contributor to preg-nancy-related morbidity and mortality in any trimes-ter. It is estimated that the incidence of PE during pregnancy is approximately 1 in 1000 pregnancies.
