摘要
This study examines the mediating role of employee engagement between its transformational leadership and turnover intention. Cross sectional research design was used and data were collected from 442 academic staffs of Ethiopian public higher education institutions. To test hypothesized model, structural equation modeling was performed using analysis of moment structure (AMOS 24.0). The result shows that transformational leadership has significant positive influence on employee engagement. Both transformational leadership and employee engagement has significant negative effect on employees' turnover intention. The study also discovered that the association between transformational leadership and intention to leave is partially mediated by employee engagement.
