摘要
Workflow strategies addressing patient selection can aid integration of DECT into a busy clinical practice. Automating postprocessing steps is crit-ical to minimize interruptions into the radiologist and technologist workflow. Selecting DECT recon-structions to automatically send to PACS is ulti-mately based on user preference. DECT can be of value in the emergency department; in addition to the cost benefit of incidentaloma characteriza-tion, there is an increase in diagnostic confidence when using DECT. Radiologist adoption of DECT can be enabled by making radiologists more comfortable with DECT interpretation and data sets, optimizing workflow and avoiding "image overload," and sharing data on the benefits of DECT for both the radiologist and the patient.
