摘要
K2CuP2O7 potassium diphosphate has been obtained by the traditional solid-state reaction method and characterized by different techniques. Rietveld's refinement of XRD data confirmed orthorhombic symmetry, belonging to the Pbnm space group. SEM mapping and energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) indicated the same morphology and different particle sizes. The electrical and dielectric properties of this material were investigated using impedance spectroscopy in the frequency range 100 Hz-1 MHz and temperature range 603-673 K. The temperature dependence of the dc conductivity obeys Arrhenius' law. The frequency-dependent AC conductivity was found to obey Jonscher's power low. The values of the frequency exponents increase with increasing temperature. The conduction mechanism was therefore attributed to the small non-overlapping polaron tunnel effect (NSPT).
